At Peacock Lodge we offer comfortable accommodation for couples and individuals looking for a quiet hotel within a few minutes (by bicycle or car) of the centre of Mandalay.

Peacock Lodge is a small, family run, guest house where we take pride in looking after our guests.  By limiting ourselves to 5 guest rooms we are able to provide personalised attention to your needs e.g. diet or laundry.

We have a wealth of knowledge about Mandalay and the rest of Myanmar and can advise you on interesting places to visit, travelling and even accommodation.

Naturally we can make reservations for you and arrange transport by plane, train, river boat, bus or taxi. For an interesting evening try the Mandalay Marionette Show or see the famous Moustache Brothers cabaret.  Even play snooker or pool at the Relax Club.

Although we are not a restaurant (so the tranquility of your stay will not be disturbed) we are happy to cook for our guests and their friends. We can provide Burmese or Bamar dishes of the highest standard.

Breakfast is included in the room price and we will always do our best to provide you with want you would most like to eat. You can return to the hotel at any time for tea on the veranda or a beer.  Our speciality is home cooked Burmese cuisine.

We also have bicycles for rent. Cycling is the ideal way to visit many of the attractions of Mandalay and become a bit of an attraction yourself.

Lastly, however you plan to arrive in Mandalay, we can collect you and bring you safely to your home from home.
