Mosques

There are seven Jamaa Mosques in Pyin Oo Lwin, serving the Islamic community in various parts of the town. All are open to visitors. The Main Mosque, in the centre of town, opposite the Purcell Tower, is the easiest to find. The traders with shops in the perimeter of the Mosque speak some English and are happy to make appropriate introductions for guided visits to this Mosque.
