English House Education Centre is a not for profit Kindergarten, English language and computer centre, and carries out tuition for a number of children from State sector schools.  Tuition is also offered at weekends.  On-going teacher training courses attract many practising and would-be teachers.

During the summer months (March to May) when schools are closed, English House runs a Summer School for about 150 children aged from 6 to 16.  During this time, students are exposed to a number of experiences (see the photos above) which they would not normally be able to do.  In particular, emphasis is placed on learning to think clearly through activity, and to apply what has been learnt in other ways.

Through a number of private donations, English House is able to offer a few scholarships and bursaries each year for children whose families have fallen on exceptionally hard times.

Many children going on to State schools succeed very well, and are highly thought of, after receiving an English House foundation.
